Dreamland will come alive on Friday 11th August 2023 as we host one of the biggest music events of the year, Back 2 Soul. This soulful event is shaping up to be a night of unforgettable music, featuring some of the most iconic names in the genre including Gabrielle, Soul II Soul, CeCe Peniston, Julie McKnight, Alison Limerick + more.

Headlining the event is the legendary multi award winning Gabrielle (2 x BRITS, 2 x MOBO and Ivor Novello) , whose soulful and powerful voice has earned her multiple awards and accolades throughout her career. Her catalogue of hits, including chart-toppers such as “Dreams” and “Rise,” has captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Her vast history of hits includes a further eight Top 10 hits, notably ‘Out Of Reach’. Her 1999 #1 album ‘Rise’ was one of the most successful of the era and has been certified 4 x Platinum.
Gabrielle’s resurgence in popularity continues with her recent album “Do It Again,” which debuted at #4 on the charts, her highest chart position in almost twenty years.
Joining Gabrielle on stage are other soulful legends, including Soul II Soul. The group, founded by Jazzie B and featuring Caron Wheeler, revolutionized the British music scene with their unique blend of reggae, soul, and funk. Their hit songs, including “Back to Life” and “Keep On Movin’,” continue to captivate audiences and have earned them numerous awards and accolades.
Also taking the stage are CeCe Peniston, Alison Limerick, and Julie McKnight, each with their own impressive archives of soulful hits. Together, these five icons of the genre promise to deliver an unforgettable night of music and memories.
