Just like last year, we will be operating flexible opening times for Dreamland in 2022 and visitors will be able to enjoy our carefully curated selection of rides on a pay-per-ride basis.

All the food and drink outlets at Dreamland accept contactless and card payments.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on event tickets. If the park is closed on the day you had booked to visit, or an event is cancelled, our Guest Services team will be in touch with you. If you have booked your tickets through a ticket agent (e.g. AXS, See Tickets, DICE, Resident Advisor, Skiddle), please refer to your ticket or email confirmation for further information on their cancellation policy and contact details.

You must be over 14 to be able to enter our park alone. Children under the age of 14 are to be accompanied by an adult aged 16+. Age restrictions for ticketed events may vary, please check the specific information per event.

Yes, there are two car parks available for Dreamland visitors. The multi storey car park is just around the corner from Dreamland on All Saints Avenue, CT9 5QH and a car park on a level surface is just off Belgrave Road, CT9 1XG. Both are operated and managed by SMART parking. The car parks cost £9 for all day parking.

No, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

No, there is no storage for buggies on site.

Yes, Dreamland operates free entry policy on park days and companions, carers or personal assistants will need to provide one of the following forms of documentation:
– A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant clearly stating why you are eligible for a companion ticket
– A letter from a professional body (eg Nurse, Bupa Healthcare Advisor etc) clearly stating why you are eligible for a companion ticket
– A DLA, DWP or PIP letter stating you are entitled to a companion ticket
– Blue Badges are not accepted

Yes! It was not the wood that was listed it was the structure, design and location of the railway. It has been lovingly re-built under the watchful eye of English Heritage.

The Whip and the Corbiere Wheel are being stored by our partners at The Dreamland Heritage Trust for future development.

During wet weather conditions it may be necessary to temporarily close some of our rides and in cases of high winds the Big Wheel. If this happens, we will do everything within our power to open these rides as soon possible.

Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

We offer shoes all the way down to a kids size 8.

The Roller Room may be closed for some events. Please check the Roller Room opening times before you travel.

The concert will go ahead rain or shine, unless decided by the management and artist that it is unsafe to continue. Please ensure you bring adequate clothing for the weather conditions on the day.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The ticket purchaser is required to bring ID alongside their ticket to gain entry to the event. Letters of authorisation will be accepted in place of the original ticket purchaser’s ID. Dreamland reserves the right to refuse admission if these terms are not adhered to. Our outdoor park and Scenic Stage area are accessible for wheelchair users and there is a dedicated Accessible Platform, which must be booked prior to arrival. All Accessible tickets will need to be booked in advance via the Dreamland website. When you book an accessible ticket, you will receive a complimentary carer / personal assistant ticket alongside.  Proof of eligibility will need to be provided alongside your ticket on entry to the event. If you have any specific access needs, please contact us prior to the event on [email protected].

For music events, classified as ‘All Ages Welcome – under 14’s, 16’s etc…’ children under 2yrs old do not need a ticket.  Children over 2yrs old do require a ticket.
At some of our sold out Scenic Stage events, parents may not be able to bring prams and buggies into the Scenic Stage Arena, due to capacity. Please consider that our shows have amplified music which may be unsuitable for young children.

Many of our events are managed by external promoters and so we often do not have full details of exactly what the production will involve until very close to the day of the show. Most of our events will contain flashing lights and use of haze as standard. We make every effort to advertise on doors of the event if this is the case.

Most of our events have age restrictions, in which case you will need to provide proof of age on entry. Please refer to the individual event page for the age restrictions of that specific event. When purchasing alcohol, if you appear to be under the age of 25, you may be asked for proof of age. We reserve the right to refuse to serve you alcohol if you do not have valid photographic ID.
Acceptable forms of ID to prove you are over 18 include:
• A photo driving licence
• A passport
• A proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme.

For outdoor ticketed events, we do not operate a cloakroom.

If you’ve lost something whilst with us, please send an e mail to our customer services team on [email protected] and they’ll search lost property to see if it has been handed in.

Portable seating is not permitted in the concert arena. Food and drink must not be brought into the park; there are a number of outlets available to purchase food and drink from. There are baby changing areas available in the toilets/welfare areas on the park.

Our Hall By The Sea and Ballroom venues are both fully accessible for wheelchair users. There is an accessible platform available in Hall By The Sea for up to 6 wheelchair users plus their companions / carers or personal assistants (12 tickets, sold as 6 pairs). Tickets for the accessible platform will need to be booked in advance via the Dreamland website. These tickets also provide entry to the unreserved disabled access area. Dreamland offers a complimentary personal assistant / companion ticket alongside all disabled ticket bookings. Proof of eligibility will need to be provided alongside your ticket on entry to the event. If you have any specific access needs, please contact us prior to the event on [email protected].

Yes. We operate a cloakroom for all indoor ticketed events. There is a charge for each item deposited. Please avoid bringing large bags and suitcases where possible, as space is limited.

No dangerous or hazardous items, lasers, chairs, stools, spray cans, professional cameras, glass, illegal substances, flags, banners, poles. Masks will be removed for security search. Please note that guests will have to pass through security and bag searches to enter all ticketed events. Please refer to the full park entry terms & conditions here for more information.

We have decided to suspend our Dreamland Membership Scheme, in its current form, for the time being.

As a member, you will already have received two emails from us about your Dreamland Membership. If you missed these, or they happened to go into your junk mail, all you need to do is complete and return a refund form before Friday 30th September 2022. You can find the form in the Members section on our website here.

We love welcoming groups at Dreamland. Please email [email protected] or call 01843 267026 for more information. You will be able to pay for your group tickets at the ticket booth on the day of your visit but we must know how many will be in the group, prior to your arrival, so we can have the tickets ready and waiting for you.

For coach parking, please use Dreamland Car Park. This is located on Belgrave Road, Margate, CT9 1XG. The cost for coaches is £12 for up to 4 hours and £24 for up to 24 hours.

We can’t promise that every detail that you remember will be there but every nook and cranny of the new Dreamland will be touched by the hand of a designer. We do promise that there will be nowhere quite like Dreamland.

The Roller Room, and Tail Spin Diner are open throughout the year (subject to availability). The amusement park closes during the winter months for maintenance.

We’re afraid we don’t have a camping area at Dreamland. However, there are a number of hotels in the area and we are only a five minute walk from Margate train station.

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted to enter the park.

Yes, there will be designated areas throughout the park. Smoking will not be allowed in any other areas.

Yes. There will be alcohol served in designated areas. If you are buying drinks, please ensure you do not leave these areas when drinking them. You will also need to show proof of age when buying alcohol.
